Memorial Day Reflection

Date: 25 May 2009 Comments: 1

We had a great day working toward and planning two Servolution events for Revolution Church later this week. I will be sharing more about our summer of Servolution later…

As I sit here, Revolution peeps gone, boys are playing wonderfully, Susanne & Emilee are working on final run through for tomorrow’s Servolution event:

I wanted to take a minute to send a big THANK YOU to all those that have served and are serving this great country we live in. It’s because of you that we have freedom to worship a living God without fear of persecution.

Thank you American Soldier!

You are our TRUE AMERICAN IDOLS!

*applauds* Agreed. I saw the mother of a guy from Florence who died in 2007 in Iraq on TV tonight; I knew his sister and they were a really awesome family. I met them covering a beauty pageant that his sister was participating in, and his family was so nice, letting me (a reporter) sit in their section of the auditorium with their family and everything. The sad thing was that he was my age when he passed away, but he loved our country and was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The Servolution was fun- look forward to doing more things like that over the summer.
