habit Day 2
habit Day 2
7 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
What does this passage say?
It’s all about Jesus! Nothing in this world has value compared to Him. Nothing compares to Him!
Why is it in the Bible?
To teach us that no mater how big a house or how nice a car we have… it is all for nothing if we don’t have Jesus as our Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
What should I do about it?
Never look to “things” such as a new car, LCD TV, or latest macbook to try and fullfil my joy. I will only find true joy by realizing my righteousness is only possible through Him.
Spend some time praying that God will help you do what you wrote down for the third question.
See, that wasn’t so hard… Take the 21 day challenge!!! It’s not too late. I am trusting God to do great things through this habit forming challenge!
