Disclosure Policy

Written on January 20, 2010 – 9:59 pm | by Chris Reeder |

Due to the recent FTC ruling that all bloggers must disclose the payments or free gifts they receive, here is my full disclosure for this site.

For book reviews:

I am part of several blogger networks which provide free books for the purpose of reviewing.  As a blogger, I can be completely honest and I do not have to provide a good review in order to receive the free book.  By providing free books, the publishing companies and authors get great publicity from many people when the books are released.  I commit to being objective and fair in my reviews. Sometimes, the publisher provides a copy/copies of the books to give away. When this happens, I have to pay shipping.

For Affiliate Links and Advertisements:

By linking to products, books, and services, I may receive compensation.  When you click on product links or site advertisements and then make a purchase, I receive a small commission.  The key word here is small.  So far, this has not produced income due to the low site traffic and click rate here on my blog.
